“Jageshwar Dham or Temple” is a famous pilgrimage center in the picturesque district, Almora. This temple is located 38 km away from Almora district of Kumaon division in the middle of the pine forests. Also known as the the “fifth pilgrimage” of Uttarakhand, it is the largest temple complex in the state. Jageshwar temple has a group of 124 temples. Among these, Dandeshwar temple is considered to be the most prominent temple. This complex is in a dilapidated condition, many of whose remains have been turned into ruins.
